happy days

we have now found lots of bones, but no good graves. every muscle in my body hurts, and i think my hip has a hairline fracture from a fall into the pit. we have completed the first trench and are half way down in the seccond one. my group is awesome and we´re totally beating the other team. we have entered a ¨sexy archaeology team¨contest and we´re using all of my ideas. scarry I know. the food is still amazing and everyone here says i´m loosing weight. perhapse I should spend more time here.lol. two more weeks to go.

graves found

If I could, I would have brought you all with me. The food is so amazing there aren´t words. The weather sucks- it´s been cold and rainy. The Canadian and I love it. The Brit thinks she could have stayed home and everyone else thinks the welcome packet lied.

We have found 3 poor graves so far, lots of marbles, and what I fear is only the begining of pottery shards. I hate pottery. no. I hate shards. I have cleaned more shards than any one person ever should. We as a collective have stopped saving anything less than 1¨ squared from the dirt because then we have to clean it. It sucks. Few bones so far, but I have recognized a number of cranial sutures, so that´s good.

Time for tapas

i saw sheep

Success.
I am in Spain, with my group, on site. It is amazingly beautiful here and you all should be jealous. I have seen real sheep herders, herding their sheep. The site is layed out and ready for us to begin digging this afternoon. I love siesta!!!!!!!! My Spanish is poorer than I had anticipated, but I´m making out ok. I miss you all soooo much. I expect to only be online once a week. I have purchased a phone card, but I am 7 hours ahead of La. and 10 hours ahead of Ak so I doubt I´ll be calling too much.
DIG!!! be a good boy and no chewing.
PS the wine here is AMAZING!!!!!!
